Perry's cartoons of country life are a great success. They capture the simplest of pleasures in the French countryside. Markets, grape picking, hunting, playing boules or quilles, mushroom hunting, vide-greniers, chance encounters and village life. Full of detail and always something funny going on, whether it's farmers, expats, ducks or chickens.
The original ink drawings are now available,as well as reproduction prints on A4 and A3 art paper, signed by the artist. Perfect as gifts or souvenirs of life here in the slow lane.

Perry's background
Perry has over 25 years of advertising and designing experience in his back pocket and now enjoys life out of the office environment, at the other end of an ADSL line. He shares his home and toothpaste with his Dutch wife Caroline, in the Hautes-Pyrénées, SW France.
Having always designed and art directed creative work for other people, he has found time to be creative for himself. He has always drawn since a very early age when his grandfather spotted his talent and employed an art student to teach him perspective, light, colour and shade. The cartoons began to evolve and many people have found themselves to be the victim of his funny felt-tip pen.
For those who like facts and figures, he has worked on recruitment, retail, pharmaceutical, FMCG, travel, cars, spirits and entertainment accounts. Over the years, his quick-draw talents and conceptual thinking have seen him art directing for brands such as Nissan, Bacardi-Martini, House of Fraser, The UK’s National Theatre, Mitsubishi Motors, UPCtv, General Motors, Boehringer Ingelheim, AON and Malaysia Airlines.
We have just found a great space to create a brand new gallery during the Jazz in Marciac festival. 70 m2 in a beautiful barn, just off the main square. More details to follow.
We are happy to announce that Chartelotte will now be selling a selection of Perry's art on her stand at the markets in Fleurance, Seissan, Boulogne sur Gesse and Castelnau Magnoac.
Perry has just hung a large selection of new, limited edition prints on the first floor of the donjon in Bassoues. Expo open until the end of August, see the poster HERE.
Free online magazine TIENS ! le Sud-Ouest de la France is now out, designed by Perry and available to see HERE.
Living France Magazine wrote a wonderful article about Perry and his work in their October issue. A four page article telling of the sources of inspiration, themes and success of his new, fun illustrations about life in Gascony.
